The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) is a nonprofit organization working tirelessly to save the lives of women in your life and in your community from ovarian cancer, the deadliest gynecological cancer facing women. For 25 years, the NOCC chapters across the country have been raising awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer and teaching everyone to TEAL - Take Early Action & Live. We support women and their families affected by the disease and support research to find a cure.
Did you know: All women from age 7 to 107 are at risk for ovarian cancer. There is NO early detection test. Recognizing the symptoms is our best defense.
So, what are the symptoms? Bloating, trouble eating or feeling full quickly, pelvic or abdominal pain, feeling the need to urinate urgently or often. If any of these symptoms are new to you and persist for two weeks or more, please talk to your physician immediately.
These symptoms are vague and subtle. They whisper, but if you pay attention, they speak loudly. Early detection saves lives and saves families.
Help the NOCC raise awareness of ovarian cancer. Learn the symptoms and remember to TEAL - Take Early Action and Live.
Let's keep our family and friends baking together!!
